Minimum Engineering Requirements:
Level 1
Education/Experience: Four-year or equivalent BS program in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technological/Surveying curriculum or 1-3 years of civil engineering design experience.
Salary Range (depending on experience): $100,000-$115,000
Level 2/3 (EIT/LSIT)
Education/Experience: Four-year or equivalent BS program in civil engineering or engineering technological/surveying curriculum or 2-3 years in consulting civil engineering environment or construction related activity, i.e. field engineer or field surveyor. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2023 (or newer)/civil design/surveying & mapping; Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Licensing Requirement: Engineer-in-training (EIT) or Land Surveyor-in-training (LSIT)
Salary Range (depending on experience): $115,000-$130,000
Level 4 (PE)
Education/Experience: Four-year or equivalent BS program in civil engineering or engineering technological/surveying curriculum and 4-6 years in consulting civil engineering environment or construction related activity. Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2023 (or newer)/civil design/surveying & mapping; Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Licensing Requirement: California State License
Salary Range (depending on experience): $150,000-$170,000
